VIP Shutters LLC (“VIP Shutters”, “we”, “us”) is a veteran-owned, family-operated window treatment company based in Gilbert, Arizona, serving homeowners throughout the Phoenix Valley. This policy explains what information we collect through vipshuttersaz.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only.

The only information we ask you for is what we need in order to schedule and prepare for a consultation. When you submit our consultation request form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, street address and ZIP code, your preferred method of contact, the product you are interested in, and any project details you choose to share.

We ask for your address because our consultations happen at your home and our design consultant needs to know where to go and whether you are inside our service area. We do not ask for and do not want payment details: there is no checkout on this website, and nothing is ever charged through it.

We do not add you to any mailing list or texting list. The details you submit are used to contact you about your inquiry and to prepare your quote. We do not run newsletters or marketing text campaigns, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

Like most websites, ours records some technical information automatically when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and roughly where you are located based on your IP address. This comes from analytics and advertising tools rather than from anything you fill in, and we use it to understand which pages are useful and which of our ads are working.

These are the analytics and advertising platforms currently running on this site:

• Google Analytics — measures site traffic and how visitors move through the site. Uses cookies.
• Plausible Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics tool that is cookieless and does not collect personal information or track visitors across other websites.
• Google Ads — measures which ads and searches lead to consultation requests, and supports remarketing.
• Meta Pixel — measures results from Facebook and Instagram advertising and supports remarketing on those platforms.
• Microsoft Advertising — measures results from Bing and Microsoft network advertising.

We also hold advertising accounts with TikTok Ads and Nextdoor Ads. Their tracking is not active on this site at present and neither loads when you visit. If we resume advertising on either platform we will update this page.

These tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use those cookies to show you our ads on other websites and apps based on your previous visits here. This is commonly called remarketing. We see this information as aggregated reporting and audience data. We do not receive, and cannot look up, the identity of an individual visitor from any of these platforms.

Our consultation form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which keeps automated spam out of our inbox so real enquiries do not get buried. It works invisibly: there is no checkbox and nothing for you to solve. To tell a person from a bot, Google observes how the page is used and sets a cookie named _GRECAPTCHA in your browser for that risk analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. This is used only to judge whether a submission is genuine. It is not used for advertising, and it is loaded only on our contact page rather than throughout the site.

You can limit or switch off interest-based advertising at any time. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies, and most browsers offer a private browsing mode. In addition, these controls apply across many sites at once:

Opting out stops ads being personalized. It does not stop you seeing ads altogether, and it will not affect your ability to request a consultation or use any part of this website.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to run the business and respond to you:

• Our form provider. Consultation requests are delivered to us by Formspree, which processes the submission and sends it to our team by email.
• Our team and installers. Your name, address and project details are shared internally, and with the factory installers who carry out the work, so your installation can be scheduled and completed.
• The analytics and advertising platforms listed above, which receive site activity data rather than your form submission.
• Where the law requires it, such as a valid legal request, or to protect our rights.

We keep consultation requests for as long as we need them to serve you: to follow up on your inquiry, to complete an installation, and afterwards to honor the lifetime warranty on work we have done, which depends on us being able to find your original order. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you at any point and we will. Just call, text or email us using the details below — there is no form to fill in and no waiting period.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us, including serving this website over an encrypted HTTPS connection and limiting access to submissions to the people who need it. No website or method of transmitting data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not collect payment details here and we do not store your information anywhere it is publicly accessible.

This website is intended for homeowners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Some pages link to other websites, such as our financing partner, our Google Business Profile, our Better Business Bureau listing and our social media accounts. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover what they do with your information.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.
